Sponsor a Class

The 2019-20 school year was obviously a unique one. Many of our classrooms ceased to exist as we knew them on March 13, 2020. However, thanks to the support of our sponsors and the ingenuity of the QSP team we were able to provide distance learning immediately to our schools. Despite school closures we were still able to provide nearly 2,000 children with arts education they otherwise may not have had access to.

And now we face not only COVID-19, but the massive deficit in WCCUSD. Because of the deficit schools no longer have funds to contribute to contracts they have with organizations like The Quinan Street Project. While we do have a grant to provide services to Title I schools, these funds may not be used for our non-Title I schools, which are still deserving of arts education.

Because of these two factors that are entirely out of our control we are making an ask of our sponsors. An ask to help us continue to provide high quality arts education to our students in WCCUSD. While we may not be in actual classrooms this year there are still thousands of children, ages 5-12, that need us, and teachers that need support to provide effective distance learning that meets Common Core standards and engages their students during this traumatic time. This year we are asking you to contribute $700 to sponsor our students. You will have logo representation as always, and we will find new and exciting ways for students to reach out to you with their thanks without paper and pens.

We know that times are tight for everyone, and are grateful for any amount you are able to contribute. We can also still offer the half and half option with $350 paid now, and the other $350 paid by March 1st, 2021.

Thank you for your continued support over the years. We are endlessly grateful for our community and its ability to come together when things are challenging.
